Before you install Windows, you'll need to choose a file system. You'll also need to know the minimum and recommended hardware requirements.
All versions of Windows install from the setup.exe command, which can be executed from Mycomputer, Windowsexplorer, a command-line prompt or by the Autorun feature of the CD-ROM drive. Some older systems do not have CD-ROM boot capabilities and require to be booted from a floppy disk. You can make a recovery or boot disk from within the Add/remove programs utility in the Controlpanel.
