Additional Windows Components

All Windows operating systems have additional components that are not installed by default. In Windows XP, these components need to be selected after the installation is completed. To see what is loaded and to install other components, double click the Add/remove programs icon in the Control panel and select Add/remove Windows components. You will be able to find out what each component consists of and what it does.

• A white box means that the component is not installed.
• A white box with a tick means that all components within this component are installed.
• A grey box with a tick means that some components within this component are installed. To see which are installed click on the component and click Details.
