'Classic Cars is a club whose members all share the use of their prized vehicles. Each member owns and stores one or more cars, but can borrow any other member's vehicle. There is an annual membership fee paid to the club who organise all bookings and record all member and vehicle details.
This has been a paper-based system until now, but the club organiser now wishes to computerise the booking system. The new system must be capable of recording both member and vehicle details including booking information. It should be possible to search on a particular date or vehicle to check availability.
Finally, each member should be invoiced yearly. Part of their £50 annual membership includes the facility to borrow cars for up to 60 days in the year. Where a member has exceeded this time, they should be charged an extra £10 per day for each vehicle borrowed. The membership fees are due each year payable in advance, but the additional charges are not applied until 1 calendar year after joining the club and then each anniversary after this.'
