DH35 34: Computing: Planning

This Unit is designed to enable candidates to develop generic knowledge and practical skills in the stages and techniques of planning. It is aimed at candidates following an HN Computing group award programme and hence the skills and techniques used should be such as to support the planning of computing tasks.

On completion of the Unit the candidate should be able to:

1. Produce a precise specification from a given brief.

2. Derive a detailed design for the required specification.

3. Produce a test plan for the required specification.
