This Unit is designed to provide competencies associated with an entry level IT Professional working as a field service or PC technician, upgrading, configuring, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on PC hardware and operating systems. It is intended for candidates undertaking an HN in Computing, Computer Networking or a related area who require an understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
