Cyber crime

Cyber crime is an increasingly common activity and essentially relates to any criminal activity conducted online. Two common forms of cyber crime are shown below.

Examples of Cyber Crime

Credit Card Fraud

This can take many forms ranging from stealing credit card details during online transactions to illegal use of stolen cards for online transactions.

Wireless Hackers

In Britain it is illegal to use an unsecured wireless access point to access the Internet without the owner's permission.

More serious examples of wireless hacking are where hackers or crackers use wireless access points to gain access to commercial networks for criminal activities.
