DIVA and the Oracle Academy

SQA and Oracle are working closely with representatives of the Oracle Academy programme to shape and implement the outcomes of the DIVA partnership.

The Oracle Academy instructs students in database and Java technologies. Students graduate with marketable design and programming skills, and proficiency in problem solving, managing projects, and presenting. Instructors and teachers benefit from high quality professional development, a web-based curriculum and an online development environment.

DIVA is building on the existing strength of the Oracle Academy activities in Scotland to enhance delivery into schools and colleges and to bring forward key technologies and skills to the benefit of Scottish education. As activities develop, news and case studies will be featured on the site.
