SQA International is committed to supporting the development of education and training worldwide through the sharing of its expertise and products. We contribute to this development through three main areas of activity:

  • International Consultancy: we will continue to work with international partners to bid for and manage international consultancy projects to support national reform programmes in developing and transition countries.

  • International Awarding: Scotland's unit-based qualifications system is highly flexible and can be easily and quickly adapted to different contexts and for different purposes. This makes it a useful base for developing systems to suit other countries' needs.

  • Study and Learning Visits: SQA International regularly organises study visits for a range of international organisations - from ministries of education and national training authorities to individual schools, colleges and other institutions. We can accommodate short briefing visits (lasting from half a day to two days) to stays of up to two to three weeks for specialised, in-depth studying and learning.

Please follow the links on the left hand side of the page for further information on each of these services.
