Our annual question paper survey gives you an opportunity to pass on any comments you may have about a particular question paper or papers to qualification development teams and Assessment Panels.
The report on development work relating to National Qualifications - National Units, National Courses, and Group Awards made up of National Units (Awards, National Certificates, National Progression Awards and Professional Development Awards) is now available.
From August 2009, SQA will be focusing on specialist collaborative developments led directly by colleges and be supported by SQA.
Principal Assessor reports for 2008 are now known as External Assessment reports, and Senior Verifier reports are now known as Internal Assessment reports. These can still be found in the 'Subject-specific links' menu of the relevant subject page.

This guide describes the quality assurance procudures SQA carries out every year to make sure that the awards made to candidates for National Qualifications are fair and that standards are rigorously maintained from year to year. As part of SQA's commitment to continuous improvement, we have established a planning tool for the development/revision of all Group Awards.
This Excel spreadsheet will calculate the overall Standard Grade award from the contributing element awards. It will help centres to identify where an element upgrade would change the overall subject grade, as a result of a successful appeal.
