Welcome to the subject homepage for SVQs Business and Administration. You will find subject specific information we hope is useful for you.

SQA offers SVQs in Business and Administration at levels 1-4. These awards have been developed from the standards produced by the Council for Administration (CfA). The assessment strategy for these standards is available from this homepage.

Each level consists of a mandatory and optional section. Some units within the optional section of each award have been imported from other standards setting bodies. Therefore, it is important to note that for imported units the assessment strategy for the relevant standards setting body will apply.

At present, the subject homepage contains information relating to the structure of each award and verification issues, ie the senior moderator report. In addition, recent update letters and documents concerning the assessment strategy and assessment guidance are also included.
