Guide to Assessment
This Guide provides support for everyone involved in assessment.  It gives an overview of the different purposes and principles of assessment. The Guide also contains information sheets on each of the most common assessment instruments and outlines the processes for assessing SQA Units and Courses. A glossary of assessment terminology is provided as well as a reference section of publications and websites.

One is produced for every SVQ accredited. Each sheet includes details of the Group Award number, the awarding body or bodies, Unit titles and numbers, Element titles and where to obtain a copy of the National Occupational Standards.
