A Quick Guide to Polish Qualifications

SQA is keen to support the promotion of Scotland as a place to live and work and recognises the value of migrant workers to Scotland’s economy. 

In response to demands from employer organisations for a tool that would provide a basic understanding of the the typical qualifications being presented by the large number of Polish nationals seeking employment in Scotland, we have created these web pages to provide information on Polish education and training, with a particular focus on qualifications for post 16 year olds (excluding university degrees).

We hope that this tool, which shows how Polish qualifications compare to Scottish ones, will not only support employers and training providers, but will also benefit migrant workers themselves who may be able to use this information to progress in employment and learning.
