The HNC Multimedia Computing: Web Development award is designed to provide candidates with the skills and underpinning knowledge required to develop interactive digital multimedia content and applications for delivery on CD/DVD media and/or the World Wide Web.

The award is designed to allow candidates the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding relevant to digital media content creation and development techniques for applications targeted at offline and online distribution.It endeavours to harvest key skills in analysis, design, authoring, scripting, programming, problem solving and personal/interpersonal communication. Opportunities exist for candidates to develop graphics, animation, sound and video sequences.
