PDA E-LEARNING: PRODUCTION

SQA has developed a Professional Development Award (PDA)
e-Learning: Production (G79J 16), which is designed for professionals interested in the preparation of e-learning materials for delivery.

This PDA comprises four mandatory units (totalling 6 credits), all of which are at SCQF level 8.

The Units are:

  • DE0X 35 e-Learning: Production: Writing and Developing Materials (2 credits)
  • DE10 35 e-Learning: Production: Website Development (2 credits)
  • DE0Y 35 e-Learning: Production: Project Management for Content Production (1 credit)
  • DE0F 35 e-Learning: Production: Project (1 credit)

This award is part of SQA's e-Qualifications framework - a proposed suite of 5 e-qualifications which builds on the existing PDA in Online Learning (G752 15) - and is shortly to be accompanied by new PDAs in E-Learnng: Delivery and E-Assessment. The fifth award, towards which the others may contribute, will be an Advanced Diploma in E-Learning.
