It has been brought to our attention that the option to use Expert Witness Testimony where no Assessor is available has been omitted from the pathway -specific Units in the above frameworks.
I can now confirm that Expert Witness Testimony can be used to evidence pathway-specific competences, in addition to the Evidence Requirements already provided in the following Units:
AHP Support:
AHP15, AHP18, AHP26, AHP27, GEN15, GEN16, GEN20, HAS3.1, HAS3.2, AHP8, AHP9, AHP12, AHP13, AHP14, CHS17, AHP2, AHP3, AHP4, AHP5, AHP6, AHP7, MHG3, MHG6.2, R1, R4, R6, R11, R12, AHP10, AHP11, M2.0, CI.A1, CI.A2, CI.A3, C1.A4, AHP16, AHP17, AHP19, AHP20, AHP21.
Renal Support:
CHS26, CHS28, CHS29, CHS30, CHS31, CHS32.
Decontamination:
DEC1, DEC2, DEC3, DEC4, DEC5, DEC6.
Maternity/Paediatric:
CHS33, CHS34.
Please note, in relation to Units AHP 22, 23 and 24, assessment must still be carried out in full by an appropriately experienced and qualified Assessor.
All External Verifiers have been notified that this interim guidance should be followed until incremental review of these awards has been completed, when new Assessment Strategy and Guidance will be in place, to prevent any verification issues arising.
