Scottish education recognises the need to educate the whole person, providing the skills and knowledge to participate fully in society and potentially lead rich, fulfilling lives. The Personal Development Courses seek to develop candidates' potential as employable, contributing members of society through the development of life skills related to task management, social interaction, and self evaluation.
The Courses also provide opportunities for candidates to demonstrate the ability to manage information communicate effectively and deliver a product or a service.
Through the development of these skills and abilities, candidates can become reflective learners which will help them to build self confidence and self esteem.
