Why have my National Units not been graded like my course results? And/or why don't I have levels against all my National Units?

(a)    Grade Question

All national Units, other than external assessments (exams), are not graded but simply recorded as pass or fail. If they are on your certificate then you have passed them. If they are not on your certificate then you might have failed them or your centre has deferred a decision until you complete the evidence needed for a pass. Please go back to your centre if you consider results are missing.

(b)    Level Question

Some National Units have not had levels attached to them. They were generally offered by SQA’s predecessor bodies and called modules or short courses. Now for certification purposes they are classified as National Units.
