I haven't received a text message containing my exam results.

Exam results are sent out by text message from 8.00am on Thursday 4 August 2011. If you haven’t received your exam results please check the following:

a) Have you signed up and activated your MySQA account?

Yes: see question b)

No:

In order to receive a text message you needed to have signed up by 5pm on 15 July 2011 and activated your MySQA account by 5pm on 22 July.

Yes:

b) Have you sat exams at Standard Grade, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Higher or Advanced Higher?

No:

Text messages are only issued to candidates who undertook an examination based national course during the 2011 examination diet.

Yes:

c) Did you sign up to receive your results by text message?

Yes: See question d)

No:

If you skipped the text message step during activation or did not update your MyProfile page by 5pm on 22 July to say you wanted to receive your results by text message we won’t have sent your results by text message.

d) Have you given us the correct mobile number?

Yes: See question e)

No:

No: Text messages can only be sent to UK mobile numbers starting with 07. Text messages cannot be resent.

Yes:

e)If you are abroad, do you have enough credit on your mobile phone to be able to receive text messages and is your phone set up to receive text messages abroad?

No:

No:SQA do not charge you for the text messaging service, however, your service provider may charge you to receive text messages abroad.
