When will I receive my paper certificate?
You will receive your certificate by post on Tuesday 5 August 2008.
I have moved house in the last couple of weeks and I am concerned that my exam results will go to my old address, can I change my address over the telephone?
In the first instance you should contact your school or college and request that they inform us about the change of address. It is their role as your presenting centre to ensure that we hold accurate and current address details for you on our systems. If your centre is closed, please contact Royal Mail in order to set up a mail re-direction.
I am going to be on holiday on the 5th of August, can I get my results sent to another address so that a family member/friend can open them for me?
Results can only be issued to the address that we have been informed of by your school or college. If you are going to be on holiday on the 5th of August and would like to know your examination results you may wish to register for MySQA. This will allow you to access your record by e-mail from anywhere in the world. You can also sign up to receive your results by text message.
When will the 2008 past papers be available?
Leckie and Leckie publishers are planning to have this years past papers included within their publications by early September. 2008 individual past papers and marking instructions should be available for download on SQA's website by late October.
Leckie and Leckie can be contacted on 0131-220 6831 or alternatively you can visit their website - www.leckieandleckie.co.uk
I have two Scottish Candidate Numbers, how can I ensure that my qualifications all appear on the same certificate?
Please send an e-mail to candidate.merge@sqa.org.uk requesting a candidate merge. The e-mail should include you name, date of birth, school or colleges attended and a list of both your Scottish Candidate Numbers. We will then ensure that your records are merged so that all your qualifications fall under the one number.
Can I get my folio/dissertation/project back?
We would advise you to contact your school or college who will be able to advise whether or not your material can be returned and if so they would arrange this for you.
