We are in the process of developing high quality vocationally related qualifications in a number of sectoral areas. These qualifications fit well with current and future occupational standards and are designed to prepare candidates for the workplace.

How do I deliver SQA qualifications?
To deliver SQA qualifications a business must first seek approval to become an SQA centre.

We can endorse your qualifications/assessed training programmes or resources.
Endorsement demonstrates that your qualification/programme or resource consistently delivers its stated aims and objectives.

Have your qualifications and learning programmes credit rated by SQA.
This allows them to be included in the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). SQA is a recognised Credit Rating Body for this purpose.

Accredited Qualifications
Some of our qualifications have also been accredited onto the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). The NQF was the original framework which set out the levels against which a qualification can be recognised in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. This framework was the predecessor to the QCF and as such it will end in 2010. Further information about the NQF can be found by following the link below:
