The HN Key Partners’ Group was reconstituted in 2009. The reconstituted group’s main purpose is to act as an intelligence group, with major agencies sharing information.
The group has a focus on particular issues, for example, articulation, flexible credit, workforce development, lifelong learning, skills agenda, HN trends, HN numbers, other qualifications at SCQF levels 7 and above.
The reconstituted HN Key Partners’ Group has links and reporting mechanisms to and from, other groups. For example, there are opportunities to have common representation on other groups such as NQGA Key Partners; the HN Key Partners’ Group might inform the work of the Principals’ Forum; and SQA might use findings to inform other committees such as SQA’s Qualifications Committee and Advisory Council.
The group meets twice a year and will consider overview information on HN developments from the HN Annual Report and extracts from the annual statistical report (on entries and attainment) to inform and contextualise discussions.
