Show Racism the Red Card

Show Racism the Red Card flyer coverShow Racism the Red Card, the UK’s premier anti-racist charity, is pleased to announce its 2011 creative competition supported by the SQA.

Racism has no place in Scotland and we want to get that message across loud and clear through our creative competition. Our 2011 competition has categories for primary, secondary and special schools and further education colleges. The competition is now open for entries. Entries are welcome from individuals and class groups.

All entrants have to do is develop a piece of creative work that gets across loud and clear our message that racism is not welcome in Scotland. It could be

In fact anything that is creative, inspirational and stimulated by the anti-racism theme.

Scottish football clubs and organisations fully support our campaign and will attend the prize giving ceremony at Scotland’s national stadium, Hampden Park. Winners will pick up superb prizes. There will be commemorative certificates for every school or college who enters the competition.

The closing date for applications is 28 January 2011.

Scotland should be a fair and inclusive society. Please be part of our competition to show that you support this ambition.
