Training dates at SQA for 2012

The following training session has been confirmed at the SQA offices in Glasgow. 

Thursday 2nd February 13.30 - 15.30

Introduction - This training session is aimed at teachers/tutors delivering the Skills for Work and/or Scottish Baccalaureate course and wishing to use the DeskSpace e-portfolio, however it can also be a useful overview for management staff or centre IT staff. The trainer will introduce you to the DeskSpace e-portfolio and cover the key features of the system, the assessment resources such as webfolios, as well as explain the registration process. There will also be an opportunity for a question and answer session.

Training at your centre

We are also happy to run a training session in your centre if there are 10 or more tutors/teachers interested in using DeskSpace to deliver a Skills for Work course. As DeskSpace is available for all Skills for Work courses this can be a mix of participants from different departments and subject areas. IT and learning support staff are also welcome to attend.

The default format is a training session of approximately 2 hours which requires a computer with internet connection for each participant.
