Understanding Standards
The Understanding Standards website has been developed to allow teaching professionals the opportunity to more fully understand the standards of assessment as they are applied by the SQA examination teams.
Introducing Advanced Higher

Advanced Highers are, as the name suggests, advanced qualifications. They are usually taken in the sixth year at school or at college. People who take Advanced Highers have normally passed Highers. Advanced Highers are National Courses. They are usually made up of three National Units and an external assessment — normally an examination or project.
