Standard Grade Accounting and Finance
The Standard Grade in Accounting and Finance teaches learners about the various aspects of the way money is used in business, the different kinds of funds and financial management. It emphasise the role of financial information in modern business decision making, with a practical focus on the use of computers.
The qualification will show the contribution of accounting and finance to business, and give an understanding of its role in personal, social and business situations. The skills involved will help learners prepare, present and analyse financial statements and help them use financial information in the context of decision making,
The Standard Grade Accounting and Finance Course is at three levels:
- Standard Grade Foundation (SCQF level 3)
- Standard Grade General (SCQF level 4)
- Standard Grade Credit (SCQF level 5)
