Business Management at Intermediate 1 aims to develop an awareness of the key elements of business with which managers have to deal. It does this in the context of the business as a whole and draws on material from a number of other disciplines.
The course will enable students to acquire knowledge and understanding of the role and operation of business, to develop and apply some problem-solving skills, and to communicate by means of written or spoken language and through information and communication technology (ICT).
The Intermediate 1 Business Management Course is at SCQF level 4.
