
The Intermediate 2 qualification in Classical Greek increases the appreciation of Greek literature, through a thorough understanding of the language and society that produced it. Learners gain practice in translating unprepared prose passages and in interpreting verse and prose texts.
The course develops learners' abilities to apply knowledge of accidence and syntax, and to analyse relationships within a clause and between clauses. Learners also gain skills in expressing overall meaning and recognising the category and inflection of words
The Intermediate 2 Classical Greek Course is at SCQF level 5.
