Access 3 Cantonese

The Access 3 qualification in Cantonese provides learners with basic level skills to use the language meaningfully for a range of purposes. Through understanding and conveying simple, factual information, the learner receives a worthwhile and enjoyable educational experience. The course broadens horizons and encourages learners to appreciate a fascinating foreign country and its customs.

Learners develop the ability to communicate through the skills of reading, listening and speaking. The course also contributes to a wider understanding of how the learner's own language works, while fostering vocational education through the inclusion of basic language in the world of work.

The Access 3 Cantonese Course is at SCQF level 3.
