The Access 3 qualification in French involves learners using the language at a basic level for a range of purposes. The course aims to promote the acquisition and development of basic communicative skills in French through understanding and conveying simple information of a factual nature.
Learners develop skills in communicating and understanding French through the skills of reading, listening and speaking. They develop the ability to request information and to use the basic language skills required in making a purchase or meeting people in a work situation.
The Access 3 French Course is at SCQF level 3.
