The Higher qualification in Graphic Communication covers the use of graphics in business and industry, and embraces changes brought by continuing advances in technology. The course develops both manual and computer skills, and stresses the incorporation of graphics in the product design process from concept through to marketing.
The use of the computer permeates all aspects of the course, which offers opportunities to develop expertise in computer applications. Learners develop technological creativity and a technological perspective on the role of graphic communication in an industrial context.
