Introducing Appointee Management

Each year, around 15,000 appointees work with us to deliver the assessment, quality assurance and certification functions that support Scotland's education and training system. Many different roles are undertaken, but all have a common goal — to deliver for Scotland's learners.

Our Appointee Management Team is committed to making improvements and engaging all of our appointees in the work and development of SQA.

A central part of our plans is to improve communication with appointees - beginning with the launch of ‘AM’, our new bi-annual newsletter.

Jacqui Faulds, Head of Appointee Management, said ‘The newsletter is an important development which will allow us to communicate with our appointees in a meaningful and relevant way. An editorial group has been established with cross-business representation, and the newsletter will go out twice a year, in April and September.’
