Progress reports summarise the findings and conclusions of SQA’s research and engagement, and provide advice and guidance for the development of qualifications in the curriculum areas. The reports also highlight the key issues affecting qualifications.
Reports are available for each curriculum area: expressive arts, health and wellbeing, languages, mathematics, sciences, social studies, technologies, and religious and moral education as well as literacy and numeracy.
Please follow the links on the left to access the reports.
The publication of the reports is the next milestone in the process of developing the new qualifications and will inform the next stages of development.
There is the opportunity to provide feedback on the development by clicking on the “Have Your Say” icon on the right.
The Progress Reports will inform the development of the Overview of qualifications document for their curriculum area. Our Qualifications Design Teams (QDTs) will then take the recommendations forward into the design of qualifications within individual subjects such as French, Physics or History.
