In partnership with Scotland’s Colleges, we ran a campaign in the autumn to promote HN qualifications to potential candidates and raise awareness amongst employers.
The campaign used the strapline 'Qualifications for the real world' and was in three distinct strands:
16-24 year olds
We joined forces with Bauer Radio Events to launch an exciting new music quiz across Scotland – the HN Challenge. This innovative campaign was designed to engage with young potential candidates, to raise awareness and credibility of HNs and to encourage them to contact their local college.
This group of potential candidates was targeted through press, online and outdoor advertising. Along with popular news titles, we developed an online presence with ScotCareers, S1 Learning and S1 Jobs, and secured almost 150 'Street Talk' outdoor poster sites close to JobCentres.
Employers were targeted in trade press, newspaper business sections and online.
To support the campaign we developed a microsite — hninfo.org.uk — which included a link to Scotland's Colleges and other relevant sites.
