This Award recognises the very best performances for candidates in the 2010 exams for National Courses.
Rachael McLellan from the High School of Dundee is this year’s winner. Rachael impressed the judges by being an all-round outstanding student. She achieved the top mark in Scotland for Advanced Higher Modern Studies, is a top debater, participated in many school activities, and is a winner of many competitions including last year’s schools debate at Scottish Parliament. She is now studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Balliol College, Oxford.
