Is the SCQF new?

The SCQF has been running since 2001. Information about the SCQF has been reported on the Scottish Qualification Certificate (SQC) since December 2004. All SQA qualifications are described using their SCQF level and credit points. Universities and some colleges are using the SCQF to describe their qualifications and learning programmes. Some employers are also using SCQF level for recruitment purposes.
