You may have noticed that a number of a changes have been made to SQA's website.
This is to ensure that we meet the Accessibility standards as set out by the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) and the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB), and we are sure that the improvements being made will be of benefit to all users.
We now have access keys to allow non-mouse users to navigate our website, and the underlying structure of the website now meets the requirements of screen reading software. You can also access a low-graphics version of the website, which can also be accessed more quickly by users with Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs).
There are still sections of the website, particularly where tables are used, which may look a little unusual, but rest assured, we are working towards re-structuring these.
If you notice any part of the website is behaving in a way that you are not accustomed to, please let SQA's web team know, at web.team@sqa.org.uk, in order that this can be given immediate attention. You should also contact us with any comments you have, positive or negative, concerning the changes to the website.
Your patience, while these essential improvements are made to SQA's website, is appreciated.
