Bespoke in-service training

Introduction

Bespoke in-service training is a service offered to centres delivering National Qualifications that are experiencing issues with an externally assessed component.

The training is subject and level specific and can be tailored to suit your specific requirements.  An experienced Examiner will visit your centre to provide advice and guidance on aspects of external assessment.

Please note that this training can provide generic advice on the structure of a valid instrument of assessment but will not specifically approve a centre’s own instrument of assessment.

The charge for this service is as follows:

  • Half day training event (3 hours) - £494
  • Full day training event (6 hours) - £741

SQA will endeavour to support all requests for bespoke in-service training, subject to the nature of the requests and the availability of resources.

Please note that the photocopying of any materials required for the training event is managed by the centre, following the master copy being passed to them by SQA.
