We operate in a global environment and this award recognises the work of centres delivering SQA qualifications to international candidates in Scotland or abroad.
For over 40 years, Edinburgh’s Telford College (ETC) has been helping international learners to gain international qualifications and work experience.
Since 2006, over 2,000 learners from outside Europe have undertaken a wide range of SQA courses across all college departments. Recognised as one of the leading UK colleges for international operations, ETC has been expanding its operations significantly over the past five years.
The college has a network of over 75 agents in 19 countries worldwide, and 23 global partnerships (outside EU including India, Nepal, China, Bangladesh, Libya, Philippines, South Africa, Angola and Sri Lanka). This has helped ETC become the single biggest Scottish college, enrolling the largest number of full-time international learners across a college’s range of SQA curriculum programmes at its campus in Scotland and overseas.
