Revised Arrangements for Advanced Higher Modern Studies

The new Arrangements will come into force in summer 2008, for first examination in 2009. The main changes are:

  • Comparative Politics: references to Germany have been omitted and a new Study Theme, The Politics of Influence, has been added
  • The European Union: descriptors have been updated and focus more directly on the impact of the EU on the lives of its citizens
Supporting materials, including a specimen question paper, Course Assessment Specification and revised National Assessment Bank materials have been published.


Update on Course Materials

For Access 3, a second and third version of National Assessment Bank (NAB) materials, for use as re-assessments, are now available. Please approach your centre's Co-ordinator for access.
