QCF Hospitality and Catering

The way qualifications are regulated in England, Wales and Northern Ireland is changing, which includes the removal and replacement of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). Please see our FAQs document contained here.

The qualifications in the Hospitality and Catering suite allow learners to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required in the hospitality industry from basic operative roles to higher level supervisory and craft roles.

The level 2 and 3 diplomas allow learners to demonstrate their practical occupational competence and the level 2 and 3 award and certificates allow knowledge to be demonstrated.

Learners will usually undertake both a competence based and a knowledge based qualification.
