SCQF Partnership launches latest research phase
The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Partnership (SCQFP) has launched the latest phase of a survey examining the impact and understanding of the SCQF among two of its key stakeholder audiences: management and teaching staff in schools and learners across all sectors.
Learners, teachers and management staff from schools from across Scotland are invited to complete the online questionnaire, which is available on the SCQF website until mid-December.
Once completed the research will complement an earlier study published in July 2012 which focussed on the attitudes of Further and Higher Education institutions and training providers. A additional survey, examining employers’ attitudes, will be conducted next year.
Aileen Ponton, Chief Executive of the SCQFP, said: “We want to encourage as many learners and teachers as possible to participate in the survey. The results will allow us to reflect on the objectives in our operational plan to ensure that we are delivering on our key activities. It is very important that we take on board the views of our stakeholders as we want a comprehensive an understanding of the factors affecting awareness and use of the SCQF in these sectors.”
