Gaining Internal College Approval

Following evaluation of stakeholder responses, and taking account of the Qualifications Manager’s comment regarding the need for a new or revised Group Award, each college will have to make decisions about the scope of the project.

  • You should use your college’s internal processes to determine the college’s commitment to the project. Normally, this would be through an Academic Board or Course Board. Commitment to the project will involve staff time and resources and will usually have budgetary and staff development implications.
  • You should confirm key dates for validation, approval and implementation through your college’s internal systems and processes.
