Determining The Scope Of The Project

Once internal approval to proceed has been cleared, the Qualification Design Team should determine the scope of the project in the form of a project plan. This should include:

milestone dates for the validation, college approval and implementation of the Group Award
milestone dates for the revision and validation of Units
identification of the personnel to be involved
a strategy to meet any development needs Qualification Design Team members may have, eg training in writing HN Units - ie training needs and training plans for participants should be discussed and developed
the named contact for the centre
an outline of how progress will be monitored and reported within the centre
an outline of how progress will be communicated to SQA
