HN Gaelic (2013/14)
Applications are invited for the post of External Verifier for HN Gaelic units for the 2013/14 session. Applicants will be expected to have sufficient, verifiable, relevant experience and knowledge of the areas to be verified and have knowledge and understanding of current practices. Candidates should be qualified in Gaelic at SCQF level 8 and above in all four skills of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking as they will be verifying units at SCQF levels 5, 6 and 7.
Should an applicant require release from their employer, they should discuss this before making an application as approximately 3 days release is anticipated in the annual contract period. Additional time in applicants' own time will also be required to fulfil the duties of this post. Please follow the link below for details of the EV contract specification and selection criteria.
The successful applicant will receive training and induction for the role. Applicants must hold or be prepared to work towards the relevant Learning & Development unit. Applicants must also be prepared to participate in training activities for their continuing professional development.
