Hospitality

Scotland's world famous welcome begins with the country's world class Hospitality sector. Whether customer-facing or behind the scenes, excellent service is critical to Scotland's success as a tourist and leisure destination. In a sector centred on customer care and prone to legalities, a well-trained, knowledgeable workforce is paramount.

SQA has worked with industry partners to develop dedicated qualifications for the Hospitality sector. Each flexible award builds the skills and knowledge success depends on, with solid learning available for both new entrants and those in senior positions.

Our awards help fulfil training and licensing requirements, with pre-employment and workplace qualifications offered at levels including NC, NPA, and SVQ. Just as extensive are the skills and disciplines we cover. These include Professional Cookery, Housekeeping, and Accommodation Management.
