Moray Council SVQ Centre were named winners of the Innovation Award for 2014. This award recognises good practice and innovation in the delivery SQA qualifications.

In 2011 Moray Council SVQ Centre piloted a scheme offering unpaid carers the opportunity to apply for SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. The project now has its third cohort and is customised in its approach to enhance the experience and learning outcomes for unpaid carers. Providing this SVQ award involves an innovative approach to assessment and quality assurance.
