Going for Gold - Edinburgh scoops best integrated marketing campaign at CDN Awards
Edinburgh College scooped the prize for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign, sponsored by SQA, at the recent College Development Network Marketing Awards.
The Edinburgh team were recognised for their campaign which was designed to promote their suite of courses with the aim of driving up the number of applications for their January 2014 intake.
Using a combination of techniques, the campaign focused on three distinct phases; encouraging visits to the college open day, a call to action for January applications and a last chance reminder to encourage applications before the deadline.
The judges acknowledged that the campaign was well thought through, with strongly integrated messages and visuals that were tailored for specific audiences.
Runners-up in the Integrated Marketing category were silver award winners Forth Valley College for their Modern Apprenticeship Week campaign and bronze winners West College Scotland for their #wcsselfie full time course recruitment activity.
