We are continually working to improve the digital services we provide to you. Examples of improvements that have been delivered in the past year include:
Based on your feedback, a number of enhancements have been made to SQA.org.uk to make it easier to navigate and help you to find what you’re looking for.
The site is now optimised for tablet, mobile and desktop devices.
Home page / Navigation
The new home page has clear user selection panels as the main focus and a more streamlined layout for key content and information.
We have merged Subjects and Qualifications into a single area so that it’s more straightforward to access all qualification information from one place.

There are several options now available:
- I am a… provides access to specific content that is most relevant to you
- Choose Country provides specific content depending on where you are, with new content for SQA’s international customers
- myAlerts, our e-mail alerts service, has been improved so that you can subscribe to website pages and sections simply by using the 'Subscribe' button located on every page
- Sign in, a simple way to access SQA’s secure web services such as SQA Connect, SQA Secure, MySQA, and SQA Academy has been added to the site, next to the site search.
New Accreditation website
A new dedicated website for Accreditation stakeholders was launched in January 2015 which included accredited qualifications and qualification structures searches and content aimed to help awarding bodies and accreditation stakeholders. This was a direct result of stakeholder feedback.
Study planner and timetable builder mobile apps

A new Android version of SQA’s study planner app was launched in early 2015 plus a number of improvements to the existing apps were added. These included allowing candidates to set up notifications for exams and study periods and to track their study progress. The apps have enjoyed positive reviews and record downloads in 2014–15.
Growth in social
Dedicated @sqasupport Twitter account set up to deal with customer queries, increased participation across social channels from LinkedIn to Twitter and Facebook.
