SQA publishes its Annual Review for 2014–15
The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) has published its Annual Review for 2014–15.
This Annual Review complements SQA’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2014–15, by providing a data and visual overview of SQA’s activities for the past 12 months.
SQA Chief Executive, Dr Janet Brown, said: “The SQA Annual Review highlights just some of the services, projects and initiatives that have been delivered over the past 12 months.
“This year has seen the next phase of the introduction of qualifications to support Curriculum for Excellence including the first year of the new Higher and our continued close working relationship with Industry to make sure our qualifications are relevant and valuable. SQA's reputation for quality and standards has been maintained and as we look to the future, we illustrate how we are embracing and supporting continuing improvements and change. I hope you find this review interesting.”
SQA Chairman, Graham Houston, said: “SQA’s Annual Review for 2015 outlines a number of the significant achievements and milestones that we have reached over the past year. Our accomplishments across education and training in schools, colleges and training providers exemplify the commitment and dedication of our staff to Scotland and all of our learners. ”
SQA’s annual key objectives, developed with the Scottish Government, are set out in our corporate and business plans which are approved by Ministers. Find out more about how SQA plans to build on this progress in the Corporate Plan 2015–18.
