The successful team frrom West College Scotland proudly show-off their CDN Marketing Award wins

Marketers, designers, and PR practitioners from each of Scotland’s colleges gathered in Glasgow last night for the annual College Development Network Marketing Awards.

Over 130 guests from across the country gathered in the city’s Urban Village Hotel to recognise the contribution made by the sector’s marketing teams to the success of colleges in Scotland.

SQA has supported the CDN Marketing award for a number of years and this year, sponsored the award for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign, which was won by the team from West College Scotland for their full-time course recruitment campaign, Glitch.

Runners-up in the same category were Glasgow Clyde College, for their Making a Difference campaign; Dundee and Angus College for their campaign promoting Camperdown House Tea Room, and Fife College’s Big Bike Race campaign.

The team from West College Scotland had further cause for celebration after lifting the Grand Prix on the night and winning the categories for Digital Marketing, Events, and the Student Award for Website.

Steve Borley, Head of Marketing at SQA, said: “The contribution dynamic marketing teams make to the success of their colleges has never been more apparent and I congratulate every one of the winners and the runners-up, and I look forward to continuing to support the CDN Marketing Awards in the future.”
